As a UK company all purchases made via this site are subject to current UK retailing law - so you can shop in confidence with us.
Our returns policy is in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 and forms part of our Terms and Conditions of Sale
- All returned goods remain your responsibility during transit and until signed for by ourselves or an appointed agent.Our preferred method of return is Interlink Direct. Caravan and Leisure Technology has negotiated special rates for our customers. The Interlink Direct service is available at www.interlinkdirect.co.uk. Enter the voucher code CARAVANTECH at the payment screen. The voucher can also be printed from here
- If you are unable to use the Interlink Direct service then we would suggest the Royal Mail Standard Parcel Service and that you obtain a Free certificate of posting (P6159) when sending from your local Post Office, together with adequate insurance to cover the cost of the item/s.
- Goods must be returned complete (including all packaging, cables, and manuals for that product).
- All returned goods must be authorised and an RN (Returns Number) obtained by calling our sales line. Goods will be rejected without a valid returns number clearly marked on the postage packaging.
- All goods must be returned within 14 working days of the RN issue date.
- Except in the case of faulty or misdescribed goods, return shipping is to be paid by the customer. Where the goods are faulty or misdescribed, we shall refund to you the reasonable return shipping costs you have incurred.
- Customers electing to return items via premium, timed or courier services other than Interlink Direct do so at their own discretion and we are unfortunately unable to refund these costs over and above the Interlink Direct rates used in conjunction with our voucher or Royal Mail Standard Parcel Service rates at our discretion
1. Returning Unwanted Items
If you have changed your mind about the goods ordered and wish to return them, then you can do so provided you request your RN within 14 days of receipt. The goods must be in 'as new' condition when returned. 'As new' means the Goods have not been used, are returned in the same condition as originally delivered, and are in fully saleable condition. The packaging of the goods must be unmarked and undamaged.
Once the goods have been received and inspected at Caravan and Leisure Technology we will issue a full product refund to the original payment method. Carriage costs for original despatch and returning the goods are your responsibility.
Returns should be made in the original, undamaged packaging and we reserve the right to withhold a percentage of the refund value of returned goods if the product or packaging is in such a condition that the item needs to be reduced in price for resale.
2. Faulty products
Except in the case of faulty or misdescribed goods, return shipping is to be paid by the customer. Where the goods are faulty or misdescribed, we shall refund to you the reasonable return shipping costs you have incurred.
If the goods are faulty
- We will send you a replacement unit or offer a refund.
- We shall refund to you the return shipping costs you have incurred using Interlink Direct on production of a valid Interlink receipt. If this service was not used then at our discretion we will refund based on the Royal Mail Standard Parcel Service rates
If the items are not faulty or misdescribed
- We will provide you with a test report.
- You are responsible for any collection or return delivery charges incurred.
